Verleihung des Special Awards beim 6. International Smart Factory Summit 2025
Biel/Bienne, 16. Juni 2025 – Im Rahmen des 6. International Smart Factory Summit wurde Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Detlef Zühlke mit dem Special Award ausgezeichnet. Die Ehrung würdigt seine visionäre und nachhaltige Pionierarbeit im Bereich der industriellen Digitalisierung. Mit dem von ihm im Jahr 2005 entwickelten Konzept der Smart Factory hat Prof. Zühlke einen globalen Meilenstein gesetzt, der bis heute als Grundlage für die Entwicklung von Industrie 4.0 gilt.
Als Gründungsdirektor der SmartFactory-KL, der weltweit ersten herstellerunabhängigen Smart Factory für vernetzte Produktion, etablierte Zühlke eine bahnbrechende Demonstrations- und Forschungsplattform. Diese wurde zum Vorbild für zahlreiche internationale Industrie-4.0-Initiativen – unter anderem auch für die Swiss Smart Factory am Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne (SIPBB), die 2017 von Dr. Dominic Gorecky gegründet wurde.

Remise du prix spécial lors du 6e Sommet international sur l’usine intelligente 2025
Bienne, le 16 juin 2025 – Dans le cadre du 6e Sommet international sur l’usine intelligente, le Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Detlef Zühlke s’est vu décerner le prix spécial. Cette distinction récompense son travail de pionnier visionnaire et durable dans le domaine de la numérisation industrielle. Avec le concept de Smart Factory qu’il a développé en 2005, le Prof. Zühlke a posé un jalon mondial qui sert encore aujourd’hui de base au développement de l’Industrie 4.0.
En tant que directeur fondateur de la SmartFactory-KL, la première usine intelligente indépendante des fabricants pour la production en réseau, Zühlke a mis en place une plateforme de démonstration et de recherche révolutionnaire. Celle-ci est devenue un modèle pour de nombreuses initiatives internationales dans le domaine de l’industrie 4.0, notamment pour la Swiss Smart Factory du Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne (SIPBB), fondée en 2017 par le Dr Dominic Gorecky.

Special Award presented at the 6th International Smart Factory Summit 2025
Biel/Bienne, 16 June 2025 – Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Detlef Zühlke has been presented with the Special Award at the 6th International Smart Factory Summit. The award recognises his visionary and sustainable pioneering work in the field of industrial digitalisation. With the Smart Factory concept he developed in 2005, Prof. Zühlke set a global milestone that still serves as the basis for the development of Industry 4.0 today.
As founding director of SmartFactory-KL, the world’s first manufacturer-independent smart factory for networked production, Zühlke established a groundbreaking demonstration and research platform. This became a model for numerous international Industry 4.0 initiatives, including the Swiss Smart Factory at the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne (SIPBB), which was founded in 2017 by Dr Dominic Gorecky.
